Meet The Team
Founded in 2010, Oakview Capital Inc. (OCI) is a Canadian private real estate investment firm based in Ottawa. We have evolved from our modest roots to deliver leading commercial real estate investments for high-net-worth individuals, family offices and institutional investors.
Our core value is the preservation of our investing partner’s capital. To thoroughly demonstrate our commitment, we invest our own money alongside that of our investors.
Ryan Barresi has accumulated over 20 plus years of experience in real estate and investment mandates during his career as a Vice President of commercial leasing and investments at global real estate powerhouse Cushman & Wakefield. Ryan has been involved in real estate for most of his working life.
Ryan has specialized in investment sales and worked with investors in acquiring existing income properties. Ryan has worked in all aspects of real estate investment: buying, selling and leasing of retail, industrial, office and multi-residential assets.
Ryan had the opportunity to learn real estate investment syndication from one of the biggest property owners in Eastern Canada. Ryan has extensive experience with emphasis across all commercial real estate asset classes. Ryan invests his own capital in each transaction.
Ryan attended the University of Ottawa and Algonquin College and has an Ontario Securities License and Commodities Trading License for Canada and USA trading. Ryan has supported many Ottawa causes through personal giving and fund-raising initiatives, including: Ottawa Boys and Girls Club, Elisabeth Bruyère, Special Olympics, Ottawa School of Art, Canadian Diabetes Association, the Ottawa Hospital Foundation and the Ottawa Cancer Association.
Victoria has a wide-ranging experience in commercial, multi-family residential and investment properties both on the leasing and sales sides of transactions. Prior to entering the commercial real estate field, she worked in the Audit and Certification office of Deloitte in Montreal where she worked on the financial files for large multi-million multi-national corporations. She has also run teams in the implementation of pharmaceutical sales training while living in the UK, while playing international soccer and being a member of the Touch Rugby team that went to the World Championship.

Lisa has over 7 years experience in commercial real estate with Cushman & Wakefield and Waterford Property Group, prior to joining Oakview Capital inc. Lisa has direct and progressive experience in commercial ICI property management in addition to over 10 years in senior administrative roles.
